COVID-19 Response and its effect on WML hours and services.
We care deelpy about serving our community and recognize that the Library and its services are an invaluable resource. We feel that this is this is the responsible thing to do at this time, safeguarding the health of our patrons, employees, and the community by working to contain the virus' spread through recommended social distancing. We appreciate your understanding as the Library closes based on the NYS on Pause mandate from the governor. The Libray will remain closed to the public through May 15and perhaps later, depending on the situation at the time.

While the doors are temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to make sure you know about the many library services you can access via our website.

  1. DUE DATES AND RETURNING ITEMS: All due dates have been changed to June 15 (and will be extended if the Library remains closed past that date), and no fines will accrue during this time. You may return items in the drop box or keep them until the Library re-opens.
  2. ASSISTANCE VIA TELEPHONE: Please leave a message on our voicemail and someone will return your call as soon as possible.
  3. DIGITAL SERVICES: The Library is always open at Overdrive, Hoopla, RB Digital, TumbleBook Library, and databases are availbale for at-home use with your Library card.
  4. Wi-Fi:The Wi-Fi remains on and is accessible from the sidewalk.
  5. SERVICES NOT AVAILABLE: Please dd not drop off any donated books, movies, etc. Placing holds on items through the online catalog has been temporarily suspended by the NIOGA Library System.
