How You Can Help!

Donations

While the Library receives much of its funding from public sources, we rely on support from generous people like you. Your gift allows the Library to provide critical services to the people who turn to us each and every day for help - whether they seek a book, a job, free Internet access, a place to gather with friends or a connection with their community.

With library funding a critical concern, your support is very important to help the Woodward Memorial Library continue to serve the needs of our community.

Please make a gift today. We will put your generosity to work immediately. If you pay by personal check, please make the check payable to Woodward Memorial Library and mail to:
7 Wolcott Street, LeRoy, NY 14482.

Gifts in Honor/Memory of a Loved One

Contributions may be made in memory, honor or celebration of a loved one, or to commemorate a special occasion. All tribute gifts will be used to purchase new materials for the Woodward Memorial Library. A bookplate will be inserted in a new book being added to the Library's collection. You may fill out our tribute gift form and mail it to the address on the form with your contribution to the Library.

The Woodward Memorial Library may also be a recipient of donations in lieu of gifts or flowers.

Book Donations

The Library accepts donations of books, audiobooks, and movies. We do not accept donations of:

  • Encyclopedias

  • Textbooks

Most donated items are sold in book sales that support the Library. In rare cases, the collections staff of the Library will choose to add donated items to the collection.

Donations are accepted year-round. For further questions about donating materials, please contact the Library at 768-8300.
