1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Families are invited to join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the Woodward Memorial Library! 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a nationwide challenge that encourages parents and caregivers to regularly read aloud to their children. By reading just one book a night, families can reach the 1,000-book goal in three years and provide their children essential early literacy skills.
All you have to do is stop into the Children's Room to sign up, and we'll give you all of the materials needed to begin!
Closed for Columbus Day/Indigenous People's Day
The Library will be closed Monday, Oct. 12 for Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day.
Our digital library is open 24/7!
